our chorus programWoodlawn Beach Middle is home to one of the finest middle school choral programs in the state. The WBMS choral department is known for quality performance, outstanding musical skill, superior behavior and citizenship both on a local and state level. With nearly 300 students enrolled this year, Woodlawn Beach is proud to offer a middle school choral experience that will enrich the lives and educations of its students. Paying particular attention to classical and multi-cultural music, students enrolled in choir will learn discipline, musicianship, collaboration, and most importantly, empathy. Woodlawn Chorus is grateful to an extremely supportive community, and an even more supportive administration. Without them, none of this would be possible.

About Mr. MIller
Paul Miller, CHOIR on FIRE Director, holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education (BME), cum laude, from The Florida State University. An active member of FVA, ACDA, and the AGO, he began his leadership within our choral program last year. In addition to his teaching, Mr. Miller is a concert pianist and organist, as well as an established singer. He has most recently completed a term as Interim Organist at Christ Church, Pensacola. Having accompanied for highly regarded ensembles such as the Florida State University Singers and the Tallahassee Community Chorus, Mr. Miller is in high demand both as a vocal coach and as a collaborative pianist. He has also worked extensively in theater, serving as Music Director for Quincy’s “A Christmas Carol”, Assistant Music Director of Theater Tallahassee’s “West Side Story”, as well as coaching several shows at Leon High. Mr. Miller hails from a family of classical musicians and teachers, and is the oldest of five children. He is grateful for the strong tradition of choral music at WBMS and is committed to ensuring its continued success.
